Goodbye Pittsburgh

Our last week in Pittsburgh was a little crazy, it was crammed full of things we had been meaning to do (or wanted to do one last time), graduation, saying goodbye and PACKING (cause, of course, we put it all off until the very end). Kerry and Eileen came out for this week to help us survive; mostly they played with the kids so Mark and I could focus.

One day we went to eat at DeLuca's and walk the Strip district, then we went on the incline--we have been meaning to do this since August of 2006. The twins were asleep at this point so Eileen stayed in the car with them

As the week progressed the house got very chaotic, to minimize the stress for the kids we kept out a few essential things...

the exersaucer,

the jumperoo

and Katie's art supplies

The last couple days we ate dinner picnic style.

And finally we said goodbye to our neighbors and friends.

and with Arlene, Dan, Amanda and Cameron

In the mist of all the craziness we found time to celebrate my birthday. Katie and Eileen made me a yummy cake.

That night Kerry and Eileen babysat so Mark and I could go to dinner and a movie; the best part was they could put the twins to bed so we got to leave before 8pm.
