Nemo--did they seriously name a snowstorm?

The weather here in Connecticut has been a lot more mild then I was expecting.  It has snowed a couple of times but nothing that lasted more then a day or two.  So, we were a little excited when we found out that we might be getting more then a couple of inches.  (Bethany was here visiting and she tried to pray the snow away so we could head into NYC Saturday.)  Friday morning it started snowing lightly, Katie stayed home from school and Mark worked from home.  In the afternoon the kids headed outside to play with the neighbor kids.  We have a little bit of a hill in our yard, so the kids worked hard to try to get their sleds to slide in the freshly fallen snow.

The snow continued all night and in the morning we woke up to over 2 feet of snow.  After breakfast, everyone headed outside.

The kids created a cave under the bushes.  They had rooms and front and back doors.  They invited me in and I got stuck in the front door.

Mark started shoveling the driveway (we have a huge round driveway), 15 mins in he realized it wasn't going anywhere and flagged down the next truck with a plow driving by.

He likes to pretend he did it himself
